The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) adopted the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSRs) for commercial motor vehicle transportation within the State, with a few exceptions. This course covers the specific differences between the federal rules governing interstate commerce and the state rules for intrastate commerce in Texas.
